Hardscape Guarantee
Celtic Landscaping would like to thank you for choosing us as your preferred hardscape installer. Your hardscape installation is accompanied by a limited three-year labor warranty and a limited manufacturer lifetime product warranty.
Product Warranty:
- Celtic Landscaping (Company) only recommends hardscape products produced by established manufacturers. Manufacturer product warranties can be found on their individual web sites. As an authorized contractor, and because our installations adhere to manufacturer and ICPI specifications, you can be assured your product(s) will be warranted by the manufacturer.
Installation & Workmanship Warranty:
- This warranty is strictly limited to work performed by Company.
From the date of installation, Company guarantees your hardscape installation from settlement of pavers and walls, and from separation of wall units for a 3-year period under normal use, wear and tear. (For example, if vehicles or heavy equipment is driven over a walkway causing settling of pavers, and the walkway was designed and installed for pedestrian use only, Company will not be held accountable for damages.) - Extreme circumstances (including but not limited to fire, vehicular accidents, excessive flooding, excessive freezing) causing damage to work installed by Company are not covered under this Warranty.
- This warranty does not apply to efflorescence. Efflorescence is a naturally occurring process in all concrete products that sometimes appears in the form of a white powdery film on the pavement surface. It does not, in any way, compromise the functionality or the structural integrity of the product. Although efflorescence cannot be prevented, it will wash off over time or can be cleaned with an efflorescence cleaner. Company accepts no responsibility or liability for this condition.
- In order to enforce the rights under this warranty, the owner should promptly notify Company of the specific concern. Company shall respond to such warranty request within a reasonable amount of time. If Company determines in its sole judgment that the item or items requiring attention are covered by this warranty, it will promptly proceed to repair and/or replace the defective materials or workmanship, at its sole cost and expense, except to the extent it finds that such repairs have been made necessary by the negligence or intentional misconduct of the owner, or any party or parties associated with owner.
- This warranty shall be void and will not apply to any materials which were originally installed by Company, then subsequently repaired, adjusted, or modified by an individual or entity other than Company or its authorized representative.
- Replacements and/or repairs furnished under this warranty shall not carry a new warranty but shall carry only the unexpired portion of the original warranty provided. No person is authorized to make any warranties other than those described above or to extend the duration of any warranties beyond the time described above.
Plant Guarantee
Celtic Landscaping, LLC will replace nursery stock (trees and shrubs) supplied and installed by us that fails to survive for a period of one year from the date of installation. Replacement plants are not warranted. Liability not to exceed plant value. If the same size or variety is not available a substitution will be made. For any plant material exceeding #25 gallon or 2.5” caliper size customer will be responsible for replacement delivery and labor costs of $60 per man hour.
The following plants are expressly excluded from warranty coverage: Seed; sod; plants moved, split or transplanted on customers property; groundcovers; annuals; all non-hardy plants; plants in containers above ground; and plants installed from smaller than a #1-gallon standard nursery container (plugs, flats, 4” pots). Roses, Arborvitae, rhododendrons, and azaleas are hardy but tender plants in our climate and are therefore not guaranteed.
Customer agrees that Celtic Landscaping and its representatives will be the final arbiter in the determination of plant guarantee status. Specific instances that are beyond the control of Celtic Landscaping and automatically void warranty coverage include: over and under watering; disease; insect damage; animal and rodent damage; Acts of God including wind, storm, hail, flood, heat, drought, snow and ice damage; improper trimming and pruning techniques, and chemical damage.
